| Fernando Burgos: Brazilian, Bachelor of Public Administration by the Fundação Getulio Vargas’s São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP). Master’s and PhD in Public Administration and Government by the same institution. At FGV EAESP, is currently an Associate Professor and the head of the Department of Public Management. He is a Faculty Member of the Graduate Programs in Public Administration and Government and of the Undergraduate Program in Public Administration. Fernando has been a researcher at the Center for Public Administration and Government Studies (CEAPG) since 2006, and from 2014 to 2022, was its General Coordinator. He was Deputy Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Public Administration from 2014 to June 2017. Fernando was a Visiting Researcher at the Brazil Center at the University of Texas at Austin (2007), at the Institut de Govern i Polítiques Públiques (IGOP) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2011-2012 and 2022), and a Visiting Scholar at the School of Social Welfare at the University of California at Berkeley (2017-2018). His research and teaching interests are Social Policy, Policy Analysis, Public Policy Implementation and Evaluation, Inequality and Poverty Reduction Policies, and Gender, especially in vulnerable contexts. |
