Eoin Callan

Eoin Callan works on aligning capital with systems transformation. He designs the capital, partnerships and organizations that enable communities to build more productive, resilient and prosperous economies. He is the Managing Director of Bloom Impact Capital, which backs early-stage companies developing new ways to produce and transform food, regenerate nature and make food systems more productive and resilient.

He brings experience across capital markets and economic development, including as an economics correspondent at the Financial Times and on the Board of one of Canada’s largest pension funds. He has mobilized private, public and community capital toward economic resilience, environmental outcomes and long-term value creation.

He is particularly interested in what systems transformation looks like from the ground up: how local assets, enterprise, leadership and capital can combine to create durable prosperity.
