Dr. Erin Oldford is Dean and Professor of Finance at the Hill Levene School of Business at the University of Regina. A finance scholar and higher education leader, she has led portfolios spanning accreditation, strategic partnerships, program innovation, and institutional initiatives focused on strengthening the impact and relevance of business education.
Throughout her career, Erin has championed societal impact, student success, experiential and peer-to-peer learning, and stronger connections between universities and the communities they serve. Her leadership is grounded in the role business schools can play in preparing thoughtful, responsible leaders and contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive economy.
Erin’s research focuses on behavioural finance, corporate communications, and financial education, examining how information, behaviour, and decision-making shape financial outcomes. Her work has been published in internationally recognized journals including the Academy of Management Learning & Education, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, The Financial Review, and the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, and has been highlighted by the National Post and the World Economic Forum.
