Dr. Gail Hochachka is a researcher, manager and cross-sector collaboration facilitator concerned with the human dimensions of climate change and energy transformations. Her PhD and postdoctoral research examined how worldviews, identity, and affective polarization influence discourse and action on climate- and energy transitions. She currently works with Accelerating Community Energy Transformation (ACET) as a Strategic Research Manager for SRA 5 ‘Integrated Energy Systems’ and teaches a graduate course in Climate Change Communications and Engagement at UBC.
