Hamish Khamisa

Hamish Khamisa is an entrepreneur who has spent 15 years making what’s possible visible.

Trained in cognitive science, machine learning, biochemistry, and evidence-based population health research, he saw the pattern early: gaps in what people know become gaps in what they get. He co-founded SparxTrading.com in 2011 to close one of them, growing it into Canada’s leading resource for self-directed investors. That work built a digital craft spanning search, content strategy, editorial, and audience development.

Since 2017 he has aimed that craft at a larger gap: advancing the transition to a regenerative world. He is founder and president of Sparx Publishing Group, a sustainability-focused marketing and communications agency in British Columbia, Editor-in-Chief and founder of Circular Economy Magazine, Canada’s only publication devoted to circular transitions, and Editor-in-Chief of Make The World Better Magazine. He also created and manages purpose-driven.events, a directory of the gatherings shaping the positive-impact economy. He co-organized the Circular Economy track at Victoria Forum 2026.

A father of three, he intends to leave things better than he found them.
