Diana Gibson was elected MLA for Oak Bay-Gordon Head in 2024.
Diana is the Minister of Citizens’ Services. Diana previously served as the Minister for Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation.
Before being elected to the Legislative Assembly, Diana was the Executive Director of the Greater Victoria Community Social Planning Council, where she helped found multiple regional services and programs, including the Greater Victoria Rent Bank. She is also a co-founder and former CEO of one of Canada’s largest Indigenous-owned consulting firm. Prior to that, she directed a university research institute focusing on social policy where she wrote a best-selling book on health care and built green jobs strategies.
