Katie is the Director of Circular Procurement at Circular Innovation Council. In this role she leads the development of tools, resources and national communities of practice to simplify and advance procurement as a key lever to drive demand for circular solutions. She previously launched and led the award-winning Commercial Food Rescue and Waste Diversion pilot projects at Circular Innovation Council. Katie is passionate about advancing circular and inclusive solutions. Her circular, sustainability, and inclusive procurement expertise spans more than 25 years leading consulting, engineering and multi-stakeholder programs in Canada, Tanzania, and South Africa.
