Keshiv Kaushal is an impact investing professional with experience across early-stage venture capital, social enterprise lending, and community economic development. As CIO of the NextGen Impact Fund, he leads Canada’s first impact investment fund focused on youth skills development that invests in the areas that will most materially impact the wellbeing of future generations. Keshiv has a wide range of experience, including leading technical due diligence on Canada’s first Social Impact Bond focused on Indigenous youth in the justice system, designing funds for underserved farmers, 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, and refugee-serving enterprises, and supporting the successful attraction of a $2B investment for EV battery manufacturing in eastern Ontario. He serves as a Board Director at Oshkiigmong Economic Development Corporation, Board Director and Treasurer at the Fair Finance Fund, and Vice-Chair of the Weave Community Capital Fund Investment Committee. He holds a BComm (Finance) from Queen’s University and has completed his CSC, IFRS FSA credential, and CFA Level 1.
