Louise’s expertise lies in:
1. Social innovation – involving people in change and bringing people together across borders (acting as a cultural translator), experimenting and learning quickly, asking different kinds of questions, systems thinking, futures approaches, designing and implementing new approaches/ways of doing things
2. Working at the intersections – building relationships across borders (geographical and sectoral), and working as a bridge builder and cultural translators between sectors and countries, enabling *effective* learning and collaboration

1. Philanthropy – Making philanthropy more innovative. Which organisations are pushing boundaries and challenging existing structures and systems?
2. Business for Good – The role of business in the future. How to go beyond traditional CSR? How can we motivate business to make ESG core to their work ( especially the S!)
3. Policy – The role of UK in Europe, establishing social innovation competence centres across Europe
4. Organisational capacity building – building innovation mindsets and new internal structures
in organisations
5. People who can work inside/outside of systems (mainly innovators who go into politics – or big institutions – and shake things up from the inside
6. Using all the above to better tackle complex/systemic societal challenges – Climate/energy transitions, migration, young people, learning disabilities
