Dr. Matt Vickers is an Indigenous business leader, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker with over 44 years of experience driving excellence across technology, management consulting, and First Nations artwork sectors. Honored with two Honorary Doctorate Degrees for his commitment to workplace diversity, Dr. Vickers serves as the Co-Chair for Honouring Nations Canada and is the owner of Vickers & Associates management and financial consultancy. His executive background includes roles as Partner & CEO of Generating for 7 Generations and former Provincial Director of Aboriginal Services and Partner at Meyers Norris Penny. A pioneer in corporate Indigenous engagement, he previously developed RBC’s Aboriginal Banking program and served on advisory boards for Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Vickers delivers presentations globally focusing on team dynamics, goal setting, conflict resolution, and trusted business relationships. Matt’s direct connection to art is to his family, his brother Roy Vickers renowned artist – whose body of work is managed and protected by Matt.
