Noxs Mooxs is Ksim Lax Sgiik from Wilps Gwiix Maaw’ and is Ksim Nisga’a from K’alii Aksim Lisims. Her Nisga’a Name is Noxs Mooxs and she is from the Eagle clan of the Nass River Valley. She is a daughter, sister, mother, Aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Charity has been a teacher and administrator at the very school she graduated from for the past 25 years. She enjoys learning, running, yoga and visiting with her nieces, nephews, sister and grandchildren. Having and hosting family dinners and breakfasts are her very favourite times.
Charity began engaging with Compassionate Systems since birth – as Nisga’a philosophy is Compassion and Common Bowl. Her very first introduction to Compassionate Systems she heard the voices of her ancestors as Mette Boelle lead the opening. She knew that this was her journey and that this would inform her being and her practice. She continues to learn, to practice and to encourage and uphold the children, the youth and the adults who are in the learning with her.
