Rebecca Mellett BA, MA, MSc (LSE) spent 25 years in Ottawa as a federal policy developer and evaluator for the Government of Canada ranging from Indigenous Affairs, Justice, Health and Privy Council Office before landing at Global Affairs Canada / Canadian International Development Agency as a specialist in governance, civil society and design for sustainability. She has represented Canada as Head of Aid in Honduras and Peru, at the United Nations Working Group on Indigenous Rights, the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development and World Bank, and as a development specialist in Trade Negotiations with Canada-Peru-Colombia. Since 2012 she has put her expertise in systems analysis, client participation and organizational change to consulting for governments, civil society organizations and multilateral bodies. Her regional expertise in South and Central America, the Caribbean, Middle-East North Africa is sharpened with wisdom of gender and feminism as essential anchors for true change.
