| Sydney ‘Misko’ Kechego is a proud Anishinaabe from Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and an Anishinaabemowin second-language speaker. She is passionate about Indigenous language, culture, youth leadership, and community empowerment. Sydney was a Planning Team member for the Chippewa Youth Ambassadors and currently serves as Director & Secretary for the Four Pillars Society, an Indigenous-led organization focused on supporting the revitalization and protection of Indigenous language, culture, heritage, and community wellness. Through her leadership and community involvement, Sydney is committed to empowering Indigenous youth, strengthening cultural connections, supporting language revitalization, and creating positive change for future generations. | | |
