Tamara Kronis is a custom jewellery designer, lawyer, advocate, advisor and entrepreneur with boundless curiosity and zest for life, serving as the Member of Parliament for Nanaimo—Ladysmith.
Tamara started her career as a lawyer at Torys LLP. She went on to build Studio1098 into an award-winning, nationally recognized jewellery manufacturing and retail business before returning to law, first to run the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and then to join Ross & McBride LLP, where she was Senior Counsel.
Tamara has a deep background in advocacy and looks forward to continuing to advocate for those who need it by listening, learning and acting.
Tamara has been married to Martin for more than twenty years and is the proud mother of two teenagers and a rescue pup named Austin. In her spare time, Tamara is an avid bridge player and loves camping, rowing, cooking and cycling.
