An aerospace engineer by training, I’m a 3x founder, entrepreneur, and impact finance leader building bold platforms at the intersection of innovation, capital, and systems change. I’m passionate about partnering with innovators asking big questions and crafting audacious solutions that unlock human potential.
I have two decades of field experience in platform building and scaling, mission-aligned investing, innovation and impact strategy, multi-sector partnerships, and capital formation and mobilization. I’ve partnered with global foundations, institutional LPs, not-for-profits, corporations, and governments to reimagine and scale how they discover innovators and fund impact. I am a sought-after executive advisor, innovation strategist, and mentor to founders shaping the next generation of high-impact ventures.
Throughout my career, I’ve been at the forefront of signals, trends and practices shaping impact finance, capital models, innovation, and systems change. I have curated influential conferences such as Social Finance Forum, Canada’s largest impact investing summit convening government, ventures, capital allocators, philanthropy, civil society and corporate sectors to set the agenda for mission-aligned investing and unlocking capital to drive systems change.
I’m grateful to have earned the Lewis Perinbam Award, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Governor General’s Honour, and recognition as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. I am a member of Banff Forum and NEXUS. I sit on several advisory boards, including the Equality Fund and Systemic Investing Summit.
I’ve delivered talks, keynotes and podcasts around the world in places like Bilbao, Kuujjuaq, London, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Bengaluru. I have spoken at platforms such as CBC, C2 Montreal, SOCAP, Systemic Investing Summit, Banff Forum, Ideas Festival, and the Forward Global Summit.
I hold an MSc in Social Finance and Social Innovation from the University of Bristol, UK and BEng in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, Canada.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, swimming, cooking, practicing vipassana meditation, exploring the great outdoors, and discussing big questions at the intersections of philosophy, technology, design, culture, capital and society.
