Travel Information for the 2026 Victoria Forum

Why Victoria, BC?

Steeped in rich history, architectural charm and natural beauty, Victoria delivers exceptional service and warm, authentic hospitality. Voted #1 City in the World by Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, we hope you will be able to experience some of what Victoria has to offer during your visit.

British Columbia remains Canada’s most politically dynamic province, and its history is one of the marginal players on the federal scene and provincial politicians with a reputation for eccentricity. Victoria is the capital city of the Canadian province of British Columbia, located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island off Canada’s Pacific coast.

Victoria, British Columbia, is full of life! Victoria has the mildest climate in Canada, with gardens that bloom all year. In fact, Victoria is known internationally as the City of Gardens. The wild beauty of the Pacific coast and adventures in the great outdoors are within city limits, and ocean and mountain vistas will follow you wherever you go.
