Ann-Bernice Thomas is multi-disciplinary artist, currently completing a double major in Theatre and Creative Writing at the University of Victoria. In 2016 she was the Youth Poet Laureate of Victoria, where she performed at Rifflandia, Victoria’s Ferguson Rally, and this year, had a poem published in the Royal BC Museum’s Family & Belonging Anthology.
Among other things Ann-Bernice has won Best Narrative (Sunscreen Film Festival), Bravest Show (Victoria Fringe Festival), and VACCS Community Recognition Award.
She is currently working on Taking Up Space, an educational radio show on Intersectional Feminism.
